Zeitsprung Pictures was founded in 1985 by producer Michael Souvignier and is firmly established in the national and international television business as a specialist for award-winning films, series and documentaries. Till Derenbach has been working for Zeitsprung Pictures since 2008 and is responsible for all Zeitsprung productions as managing director and producer together with Michael Souvignier.

Zeitsprung has produced several award-winning feature films, including BLACK BOX, LIEBER THOMAS, MACKIE MESSER - BRECHTS DREIGROSCHENFILM and DAS TAGEBUCH DER ANNE FRANK. In addition, Zeitsprung has produced over one hundred fictional film productions as well as five hundred non-fictional productions. These include television films, series and mini-series for all major German broadcasters and international streaming services. Zeitsprung's productions often deal with contemporary historical and socio-critical topics.

Countless awards such as the International Emmy Award, the Tallinn Black Nights Film Prize (“Lieber Thomas”), the German Film Prize (9 awards for “Lieber Thomas” 2022), the German Television Prize (“KLEO”, “Oktoberfest 1900”), the Grimme Prize and many more testify to Zeitsprung's success.
